Job Description:

Lindi Construction Group Inc is seeking a Bidding Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in the construction process by managing the bidding process for various projects. The Pre-Bid Coordinator manages the pre-bidding process for construction projects, including project identification, documentation preparation, and stakeholder coordination. They ensure all requirements are met before bid submission. The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of the construction industry, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Project Identification and Analysis: Find and evaluate potential projects, determine feasibility and competitiveness. Documentation and Proposal Preparation: Compile necessary documents, coordinate with internal teams, and prepare pre-qualification documents. Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with clients, architects, and subcontractors; organize pre-bid meetings and site visits. Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Assist in cost estimates and budgeting; work with Estimating team for accuracy. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure bids meet regulations and standards; develop risk mitigation strategies. Bid Submission and Follow-Up: Prepare and submit bid packages on time, track bid status, and maintain a database of bids and outcomes. Scope development, blueprint analysis, and value engineering are key components of this role. The Bidding Coordinator will also be responsible for construction drawings, planSwift software, and construction documentation. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with subcontractors, architects, and project managers. Experience with construction administration, shop drawings, and construction management is preferred.
