Hi, I'm Nick, co-founder and CTO at EnsoData!We're excited to announce that we're looking for a new teammate - asenior or staff-level mobile engineerwho ispassionate about making healthcare betterand has experience buildingReact Native Typescript apps .As thesecond full-time mobile engineeron the engineering team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and support of the the Celeste Sleep mobile app. The app is already available on iOS and Android and isused by patients to record over30k diagnostichome sleep studiesper month and growing . Here's a short video of what it looks like!This position is available to be fully remote or hybrid (our headquarters are in Madison, WI) and offers a salary of $125k (senior) or $140k (staff), stock options, plus benefits such as paid time off, healthcare insurance, and family and caregiver time away.EnsoDataEnsoData strives to make healthcare more accurate, efficient, and affordable through waveform artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Using AI and machine learning, our software analyzes billions of data points collected from sensors placed throughout the human body. Our first solution, EnsoSleep, reduces the time clinicians spend analyzing, scoring and managing sleep studies. This results in a simplified and accelerated patient testing, diagnosis, and treatment workflow. Our AI-powered technology has the capability of informing health decisions beyond sleep medicine, from monitoring patient health in the ICU or through wearables, to detecting and capturing seizure data, to providing earlier detection of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and Alzheimer's.Requirements5+ years full time experience working with a team building React Native Typescript apps1+ years experience building native iOS/Android apps or React native modulesDemonstrated portfolio of released applications on the Google/Apple app storeBachelor or Master of Science in Computer Sciences or related field requiredBluetooth experience preferred but not requiredExperience getting apps reviewed and approved through Google Play / Apple App StorePrevious experience at a high growth startup, tech, healthcare, or similar company a plusStrong sense of urgency, integrity and pride in one's work must be demonstratedTypical duties on a given day:Executing the planned EnsoData product roadmap to add valuable new features such as adding support for connecting to additional FDA approved PPG devices.Investigate and correct the root cause of mobile app issues in a timely manner by working closely with product and Customer Success teams to gather informationWrite unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions; troubleshoot and debug to optimize performanceSubmitting changes of our app to the Google / Apple app storesFollow EnsoData Quality Management System processes including Jira ticket workflows; ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standardsFollow software development, cybersecurity, and HIPAA best practicesInterview ProcessSubmit a resume online and our human resources manager along with another engineer will choose those that seem like the best candidates.We look forward to meeting you face-to-face!
